Now, metal journalist/author Jeff Wagner is working on an authorized biography of the towering musician.

Formed in 1989, the band released seven studio albums, beginning with 1991’s Slow, Deep And Hard and ending with 2007’s Dead Again. On April 14th, 2010, the music world was shocked when Type O Negative bassist/frontman Peter Steele passed away due to heart failure.
